Winnipeg police have issued a silver alert for an 81-year-old woman who went missing from the city’s St. Boniface neighbourhood.

Winnipeg police have issued a silver alert for an 81-year-old woman who went missing from the city’s St. Boniface neighbourhood. 

Jessie Howell was last seen just before 7:30 a.m. Tuesday in the area of Tache Avenue and Dollard Boulevard, police said in the alert. 

She is five feet eight inches tall, with a medium build. She has short white hair and was last seen wearing white runners and a lightweight green track jacket. 

Silver alerts are issued by Winnipeg police when vulnerable adults are reported missing. 

Anyone who has seen Howell or has information regarding her whereabouts is asked to call the missing persons unit of the Winnipeg Police Service at 204-986-6250.
