Manitoba RCMP concerned for missing man who may be ‘disoriented’

The Manitoba RCMP is searching for a missing 63-year-old man who they say may be ‘disoriented.’

Gerard Dubois was last seen on Thursday around 7:30 p.m. at his home on Hansson Avenue in the RM of Gimli. According to police, he left his home in a red 2008 Ford Escape with the licence plate HAJ 859.

Mounties describe Dubois as five-foot-eleven in height, about 140 lbs, with brown hair, brown eyes and a mustache. He was last seen wearing a red shirt, red pants and a green and black plaid jacket.

Police note he may have been heading to Winnipeg’s St. Vital area or Ile des Chenes.

Dubois’ family is concerned for his well-being. Anyone with information on his location or who has seen his car is asked to call police at 204-642-5104 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
