A 70-year-old woman is missing after she was last seen in Winnipeg’s downtown area on Tuesday morning, police say.

A 70-year-old woman is missing after she was last seen in Winnipeg’s downtown area on Tuesday morning, police say.

Noreen Canard is described as five feet, two inches. She has short brown hair with blond highlights and purple prescription glasses, says a silver alert issued by police.

She was last seen just before 10:30 p.m., wearing a pink winter jacket with grey fur on the hood, green sweatpants and tall black mukluks.

She was driving a silver 2018 Ford Escape with the Manitoba licence plate KYT 206.

A silver alert is issued when a vulnerable adult person is reported missing, police said.

Anyone with any information regarding her whereabouts is asked to contact the missing persons unit at 204-986-6250.
