Oshawa shooting leaves one person dead
One person is dead after a shooting in Oshawa on Tuesday.
Durham police say they were called to an apartment building near Cedar Street and Wentworth Street West for reports of gunshots.
When they arrived, officers located a deceased male victim at the scene. His identity has not been released.
The homicide unit has taken over the investigation. Police have not shared suspect information.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting are not immediately known.
