Lockdown lifted at Toronto school where youth stabbed: TDSB
Lockdown of a Toronto high school has been lifted about an hour after it was imposed, says the Toronto District School Board.
It was implemented after a stabbing inside Oakwood Collegiate Institute on St. Clair Avenue West, just east of Dufferin Street, early this afternoon.
A youth was stabbed inside of the school, police said, and was rushed to hospital.
Paramedics told Global News they transported a victim to hospital in critical condition.
The school remains on hold and secure due to the ongoing police investigation in the area, says the TDSB.
There is no suspect description.
More to come.
