Durham Regional Police are investigating after they found two people dead inside of a Bowmanville, Ont., home Saturday afternoon.

Durham Regional Police are investigating after they found two people dead inside of a Bowmanville, Ont., home Saturday afternoon.

At about 2:15 p.m., police said they responded to a call for a well-being check at a home in the area of Middle Road and William Fair Drive, over 75 kilometres east of Toronto. 

On arrival, police found two adults with “obvious signs of trauma,” dead at the scene.

The deaths mark Durham region’s third and fourth victims of homicide in 2023.

Police said the coroner attended the scene and has ordered an autopsy.

No other details about the victims have yet been released.
