NDP MP Daniel Blaikie to resign from House of Commons
NDP MP Daniel Blaikie has announced his resignation.
In a news release, Blaikie said he would be stepping down from his role as MP in the Manitoba riding of Elmwood-Transcona to work with Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew as his senior advisor on Intergovernmental Affairs.
Blaikie’s last day is March 31.
He was first elected in 2015.
