An Amber Alert has been cancelled for an 11-month-old girl who was last seen in Ottawa early Friday.
The Ontario Provincial Police cancelled the alert just before 9:30 a.m. Ottawa Police said the child was found “safe and sound” by officers.
The baby girl is receiving medical attention, police said.
Police said one person is in custody but did not reveal who.
In the initial alert, sent at around 3:50 a.m. at the request of the Ottawa Police Service, OPP said they were looking for a missing baby girl.
It was alleged in the Amber Alert that the girl was abducted from the area of Pinecrest Road and Carling Avenue at around 1:55 a.m.
It is not clear where exactly and how the girl was found.
