A 20-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash with an SUV in the Township of King on Monday, police say.
Crash happened Monday afternoon on Jane Street near 17th Sideroad
A 20-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash with an SUV in the Township of King on Monday, police say.
Emergency services were called to the collision on Jane Street near 17th Sideroad around 1:15 p.m., York police said in a news release Tuesday.
The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the SUV was taken to hospital with minor injuries, according to police.
The news release did not identify the deceased or provide any further information about the circumstances of the crash.
Investigators are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam video to contact police or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers.
