An 81-year-old woman who went missing Tuesday from the city’s St. Boniface neighbourhood has been found safe, Winnipeg police say.

An 81-year-old woman who went missing from the city’s St. Boniface neighbourhood has been found safe, Winnipeg police say.
Police had issued a Silver Alert for the woman, saying she had been missing since around 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
The Silver Alert was cancelled Wednesday morning after police said the woman was found.
CBC has removed identifying information from this story to protect her privacy.
Silver alerts are issued by Winnipeg police when vulnerable adults are reported missing.
