Youth in serious condition after southwest Calgary crash
Three people are in hospital, including one in serious condition, after a Friday morning crash in the southwest Calgary community of Belmont.
At about 7:40 a.m., Calgary police responded to 210 Avenue and Belmont Drive S.W.
Police say the pedestrian, who is a youth, was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition.
An adult and a child inside the vehicle were taken to hospital as a precaution.
The intersection is expected to be closed for several hours as police investigate.
