1 person in custody as Calgary police investigate suspicious death in Shawnessy
Calgary police say a suspect is in custody in connection with a suspicious death in the southwest neighbourhood of Shawnessy.
The victim was found at a residence in the 200 block of Shawcliffe Circle S.W. early Sunday evening as officers responded to reports of a man in medical distress, police said in a release.
The victim was taken to hospital, where he died of his injuries.
An autopsy has been set for Friday.
The homicide unit is investigating.
No other details were released Monday.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police or contact Crime Stoppers.
