Flames douse the Lightning in Saturday matinee at Saddledome

It was a happy hockey matinee for Calgary Saturday as the Flames defeated Tampa Bay 6-3 in a rare afternoon game at the Saddledome.

Nazem Kadri, Tyler Toffoli, Rasmus Andersson and Dylan Dube had the Flames up 4-3 in a high-spirited, chippy game featuring plenty of pushing, shoving and punching.

Jonathan Huberdeau scored into an empty net at 17:44, followed at 19:13 by Blake Coleman, to ice the victory.

Steve Stamkos, Vladislav Namestnikov and Anthony Cirelli replied for the Lightning.

Calgary outshot Tampa 41-24, with Dan Vladar getting the win for the Flames.
