carya is excited to present eatt (Everyone at the Table) Online, a cooking class series in support of our new Village Commons community space in East Village! Your support of this cooking class will help us open the doors of this brand new space for all Calgarians to cook, create, learn, gather, and access the mental health supports they need to thrive.
Join us for a real-time, online cooking experience led by the expert chefs at ATCO Blue Flame Kitchen. In this month’s class, we’ll be cooking three delicious appetizers, perfect for a girls night in or a dinner party when COVID is behind us!
March’s recipes include:
- Choux Pastry with Chives & Goat Cheese
- Mushroom Bruschetta Crostini
- Chili Lime Prawns with Garlic Lemongrass Aioli
You can find the full list of ingredients and equipment here. If you are purchasing a food box, all ingredients will be included.
In honour of International Women’s Day, March’s theme is Empowering Women and Girls! At carya, we offer programs for girls, women, and female-identifying Calgarians across the lifespan. Whether it’s empowering future female role models through our youth programs, supporting mothers with the tools they need to thrive through our parenting programs, or providing opportunities for women to connect in their communities, we recognize that when we empower girls and women, everyone benefits. All of these programs will be an important part of our Village Commons space when it opens.
Until March 4th, you can order a ready-made food box containing all the ingredients you’ll need to make these appetizers. Or, purchase the ingredients yourself – we’ll provide you with an ingredient list that includes everything you’ll need to cook along with us.
A link to the live stream will be provided on the day of the event. Please be sure to keep an eye on your email for important updates, reminders and the event link.
