In a news release sent out by police just before 10 a.m. CPS said a man died from a shooting that’s believed to have been targeted.
Homicide investigators are gathering security camera footage along with information from witnesses.
“I heard about five or six gunshots go off,” Jason Vanderhorst, a nearby neighbour told Global News.
“After the gunshots went off, I heard a woman screaming.”
“After that, it went quiet, then maybe 20 minutes later we started hearing sirens all over the place.”
An autopsy will be scheduled for later this week.
