Calgary CTrains not stopping at Dalhousie Station after pedestrian hit and killed

Calgary Transit says while CTrains are running through Dalhousie Station, they aren’t stopping at the location due to a police investigation.

Officers were called to the LRT station, located in the 4000 block of Dalhousie Drive N.W., at around 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday for reports a pedestrian had been hit by the train.

EMS confirmed the pedestrian died at the scene.

Police say they’re in the process of investigating how the person ended up on the tracks, but confirm they weren’t pushed.

Transit users hoping to travel to the Dalhousie station can do so by using shuttle buses, which are in place between Crowfoot and Brentwood Stations.
