Airdrie RCMP advise public of police incident
Mounties are warning the public about a police incident in southwest Airdrie on Friday.
At 5 a.m., Airdrie RCMP said several police officers were called to a scene at the 40 Avenue bridge, near South Point Landing.
There is no risk to the public, but traffic is being detoured.
Traffic on the QEII Highway is unaffected.
Police will provide an update when the scene has been cleared.
