Man arrested in Saskatchewan in connection with 2021 Regent Park homicide

A Toronto man has been arrested in Saskatoon in connection with a 2021 homicide in Regent Park, Toronto police say.
Thane Murray, 27, was shot and killed near the intersection of Oak and Sumach streets on Sept. 18, 2021. Two other men were also hit, but survived.
At the time, police said they were looking for four suspects in dark clothing and masks, who unleashed what one officer described as a “ridiculous amount of gunfire” in the densely-populated downtown neighbourhood.
Three months later, in Dec. 2021, two 20-year-old men were arrested and charged in connection with the shootings.
Police in Saskatoon say a 30-year-old man is in custody while arrangements are made to take him back to Toronto. He’s facing charges of murder and two counts of attempted murder.
A fourth suspect, 23-year-old man, remains wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.
