Foggy, moist Monday in Ottawa

Ottawa is in for a foggy, moist Monday.
Environment Canada’s weather forecast for the capital calls for a high of 7 C, falling to around 3 C in the afternoon, with a 40 per cent chance of showers in the morning and early afternoon.
As the temperature drops, the rain could be mixed with a bit of snow later in the day and into the evening hours.
Overnight, the low is 1 C, with a 40 per cent chance of rain mixed with snow.
Tuesday’s outlook is cloudy with a high of 4 C, about 10 degrees warmer than average for this time of year.
The forecast for New Year’s Day is cloudy with periods of snow and a high of 1 C. Thursday’s forecast is cloudy with a chance of flurries and a high of -1 C.
Colder weather is in the outlook looking ahead to the weekend.
